Frank Zappa is a genius. There is nothing more to say. Look at his prolific studio output - 60 albums I think. He is a guitarist, composer, song writer, jazz musician - all in one. Those who find his slightly weird sense of humour abusive or whatever, stay away from albums like "Sheik Yerbouti", "Have I Offended Someone". But if you want to listen to his guitar solos with some terrific performance from the band too, get "Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar" 3CD set. You cannot make a mistake with this one. For the Zappaphiles, checkout "Lost Episodes" and "100 Motels" - this is so hilarious & these albums contain some rare gems I should say. I am only sorry for myself that I cannot see him perform live anymore - that would've been a treat!
