R.E.M. - their music is very simple. Their combination of guitar riffs, drums, bass makes the music so engaging - melodious, mellow, soft, bouncy whatever you want to call it. I am a big fan of R.E.M. and I saw them in Atlanta last year. It was great. Michael Stipes is one of my favorite vocalists of this decade though he tends to chew the words off at times!
